Petition updatePROTECT PRING STREETCouncillor Responds to Traffic Data of late January/early February

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to give those residents who responded to the Pring Street Traffic Survey an update. The survey is now closed and all comments and individual survey responses have been forwarded to Transport and Traffic Officers for full investigation and response.

Please note that this is not an “overnight” process. Officers will take due care and consideration in analysing the results of the resident survey and identifying any available options. They are also required to operate within the guidelines of the MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices), which outlines what can and cannot be implemented on Queensland roads. The traffic survey conducted in early February will also form part of this investigation.

Until Officers have completed their assessment and provided formal advice, I will not speculate on potential outcomes. Like many of you, I look forward to receiving their findings.

Going forward, it is possible that further consultation with residents may be required once options have been identified. I will ensure the community is kept informed of any next steps as soon as updates become available.

Thank you again to everyone who took the time to provide feedback.

Kind Regards

Cr Krista Adams

Councillor for Holland Park Ward
