The date for the petition submission has now been confirmed as the 16th December at 5pm at the council offices at Borehamwood.
The meeting will be a closed meeting unfortunately with the petition being accepted by Cllr Nik Oakley and Cllr Alan Matthews but the full HMO Campaign Committee members will be attending to represent the residents of Potters Bar in support of an IMMEDIATE ARTICLE 4 and STRONGER LICENSING AND REGULATION of existing HMOs in Potters Bar. Also invited will be all of your Potters Bar ward councillors.
Sue Ridge will act as Lead Petitioner and will lobby on behalf of residents and answer any questions about the petition from Cllrs.
After the meeting on the 16th December we can expect a decision on our petition submission in 7 working days.
If we are not happy with the decision we will not stop and we will request representation at Cabinet.
Thank you to all of you who signed the petition, and those that have and will take the time to write to their ward councillors in support of our petition submission.
