The Government is planning more events and probably, permanent grandstands for Victoria Park. A leaked (but not verified map) shows the loss of hundreds trees-not the 45 originally stated by the Premier.
They won't stop until we make them! Register here.
The event will start at Victoria Square at 12 noon today- IN 2 HOURS! Following speeches, there will be a march to Victoria Park via Wakefield Street.
It will end at the Olive Grove within Victoria Park (near the corner of East Terrace and Wakefield Road). There, the Gum Leaf Guild will host a sausage sizzle and bake sale.
If you can't march feel free to go ahead to Victoria Park and wait there.
Bring your banners and your yellow ribbons! Chant, sing, make a noise but please do not make personal attacks on the Premier or other individuals.
