The petition calls for new legal protections for access to purchased video games, including fair long term access if a store closes, a licence changes, or content is removed.

This is the official Parliament route for the issue we’ve been raising here around physical games, digital ownership, store closures, preservation and consumer choice.

If it reaches 10,000 signatures, the Government has to respond. If it reaches 100,000, it will be considered for debate in Parliament.
