Last week I was in touch with the office of Senator Stirling Griff, who is the Senator who’s called the inquiry into pet food safety standards in Australia. The intel they’ve given is that right now, the most important thing we can do is make a submission to the inquiry! Making a submission is really simple – the inquiry is looking for information about all sorts of things, but in particular it would be helpful to write to them about: Why clear and honest labelling on pet food is important, The nutritional requirements for pet food we’d like to have labelled, Your personal story, and why this matters to you.
