Our community effort to protect Gershwin Park from the proposed AT&T cell tower continues, but we are facing a major challenge: despite the large number of petition supporters, only 10 people have donated to the legal advocacy fund so far. Even a small contribution makes a difference. If just a fraction of petition supporters donated, we would be in a much stronger position to protect our neighborhood park.

Also, if you are able, please attend tonight’s Clairemont Town Council meeting to help show continued community opposition. Public presence matters.  It is at 6:00 at the Cathy Hopper Friendship Center, 4425 Bannock Ave.  It is also an opportunity to express the importance of keeping North Clairemont Library open as it has been recommended to be permanently closed.
