Petition Update: A Small Edit & Gratitude

Thanks to everyone who has signed thus far! Exercising the right to ask for our leaders to listen to our desires is a great blessing that this beautiful country has given us.

I wanted to share a quick update regarding one change I have made to our asks in this petition. I have removed the request for "filmed documentation of all meetings discussing AFFC matters, made available for the community to review." Our city councilmembers work hard and deserve the right to have private conversations behind closed doors as they work to gather information and develop options for our community about what is going to happen at the Fitness Center. They give so much of their time and energy to make American Fork a wonderful place to raise our families, and that deserves our respect.

Our remaining asks still reflect the heart of what we are hoping for: transparency, community involvement, and the opportunity to be heard before any final decisions are made. We believe that our voices matter and that our leaders want to hear from us.
