Our little dog, Clementine, was attacked by a  local dog which has attacked other dogs and killed a dog in Peckham. The police/ Southwark council have not taken any action even though the owners have been reported in the past. Many local residents have asked the owners to put a muzzle on the dog, a bull breed, which they have ignored and refuse to do. The owners are known to the police and the local authorities for other issues but somehow nothing is being done. Caroline Gardens, in Peckham, is a lovely communal space but more and more people are afraid to go there because of these attacks.  It is a matter of time before the dog attacks another dog or a person. The LA/police have not provided justification why no action has been taken. We want swifter action to be taken before someone else dies.
