Orbite Technologies Shareholder Petition Stats

Thank you to everyone who worked hard to protect Orbite Technologies Shareholders. In the past couple of years we generated 1,011 supporters, we received over 300 comments, we reached 8,579 eyeballs and we shared 261 times. No small feat.

It is beyond unfortunate that Orbite's management team did not succeed when they were "well-positioned to achieve our goal to exit from CCAA protection while protecting all of stakeholder’s interests." We should be outraged that there appears to be no public accountability for all of the shareholder, taxpayer and government funds squandered. Close to an additional $30M was invested by Orbite in purchasing and installing this equipment and over $7.5M by Outotec in designing and implementing solutions to the original design deficiencies encountered in 2017. Yet in the end, management failed us by proceeding without equipment guarantees and flawed oversight.

We can only hope the government investigates to ensure that their losses and ours are actually justified, that there is no proof of any wrongdoing and that there are no unforeseen conflicts of interest so that future investors aren't deterred from ever investing in that region again.

If the process was "yielding, on a consistent basis, the highest purity levels ever attained at the plant" then perhaps we might also hope one last time for the government to intervene and throw us a final life line with a new team to lead the way.

It's heartbreaking to think that a sales or liquidation process will officially wipe all stakeholders out after all of the time and money spent. That being said, I do not believe we would have made it this far without everyone supporting this petition and making our voices heard.
