If you signed this petition because you believe Ontario’s farmland is worth protecting, we’d love to have you join us in person.
On Saturday, September 26 from 1–4 p.m., we’re bringing the #Foodbelt campaign to the farm.
We’re hosting a free Protect the Foodbelt: Barn Mural Community Celebration on Hwy 6 between Fergus and Guelph — and you’re invited.
At the centre of the event is a large-scale barn mural created to do something very simple: get people talking about the land that feeds us and what it will take to protect it for future generations.
Come see the completed mural, hear from speakers, enjoy live music, take part in family-friendly art activities, and learn more about Bill 21, the Protect Our Food Act.
Most importantly, this is an opportunity to move beyond clicking “sign.”
You’ll be able to sign the official paper petition that can be presented at Queen’s Park and add your voice to the growing call to protect Ontario farmland.
