Save OHR Petition and Follow Us!

An update from Our Holy Redeemer’s ❤️
Firstly, thank you again to every one of you who signed our original petition opposing the merger. With over 1,000 signatures, your support showed just how deeply people care about Our Holy Redeemer’s and its future.
The last official communication we received regarding the merger was from the Holy See, confirming that the matter was being investigated.
Unfortunately, since then, OHR has been closed on health and safety grounds. Despite repeated requests over the past year for financial statements, building surveys and other relevant records, we are still no further forward in obtaining the information we have asked for.
We have continued to seek answers through the appropriate channels, but in the absence of the requested information, we are now seeking support and advice from the local authority’s Planning Enforcement team and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). We know that our MP and MSP have also been in touch with the Archdiocese for clarity.
We remain committed to asking reasonable questions, establishing the facts and doing everything we reasonably can to protect the future of Our Holy Redeemer’s.
As the situation has developed, so has our page, please follow us on facebook.

New: Save OHR — Our Holy Redeemer’s: Past, Present & Future
We will continue documenting and sharing OHR's history, heritage, art and memories; looking at what is happening in the present; and, most importantly, making the case for its future.
If you haven't already, please come and follow our Facebook page, Save OHR. We will continue to share campaign updates, historical research, OHR's story and ways you can help.
Please follow the page, share our posts and invite anyone who cares about OHR and Clydebank's heritage to join us.
✍️ A new petition has been launched to Save Our Holy Redeemer’s
We were also very touched to discover that a member of the public has independently created a new petition calling for Our Holy Redeemer’s Church to be saved.
This petition was not created by us, but we are incredibly grateful to see people in the wider community taking an interest in the future of OHR and wanting to show their support.
If you would like to support it, you can read and sign the petition here:
👉 Save Our Holy Redeemer’s Church – Please will you sign this petition?
Please note: Any option to donate money that appears on Change.org is a donation to Change.org and does not go to Our Holy Redeemer’s Church or the Save OHR campaign. You do not need to donate to sign the petition.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Our Holy Redeemer’s, share its story and help demonstrate just how much this church means to the community.
Please continue to follow, sign, share and invite others to join us.
