Zohran Mamdani was at the St. Alban Congressional Church (SACC) on Sunday. He was asked about the BESS installations being placed in residential areas.  He stated that this was the first he was hearing about  them being placed near homes. He has one in Astoria but it is in an industrial area. He asked for time to research it and come back with an honest opinion on the issue.  We will stay on this and push for a response before the election.
