The men and women working in our correctional facilities statewide are the unseen heroes of our public safety institutions.

Each day, they serve a critical role ensuring our communities are safe. It is therefore incumbent upon us that they feel their own safety is being considered as an utmost priority by policy makers and equally important, that their service is also valued.

As we work to see the HALT Act repealed and restore the safety for all within our correctional facilities, signing this petition will show support for our Corrections community and reaffirm that their service is also very much valued by the communities they serve.
