A little update on my community spaces petition.
The idea behind it still matters to me: having accessible community spaces where people can meet, take part in things, develop interests and actually feel that they belong.
For people who find it difficult to access the usual social, employment or activity routes, somewhere welcoming to do something meaningful can make a much bigger difference than people realise.
I've been thinking about that particularly strongly this week while trying to work out where my own music and other skills could go next.
