Sometimes a community space can look from the outside like simply somewhere to go.
But it can be so much more than that.
It can be somewhere familiar when the rest of life feels unpredictable. Somewhere you recognise people and they recognise you. Somewhere you can share an interest, have some company, or simply be around others without having to explain yourself all the time.
For neurodivergent people especially, the right community spaces can provide routine, connection, belonging and a sense of safety.
Community doesn't have to mean a huge social circle.
Sometimes it's a familiar place, familiar faces and knowing there is somewhere you belong.
