The English Devolution & Community Empowerment Bill has now entered the House of Lords.

It officially had its First Reading on 27 November, which means the Commons part is complete and the Bill is now moving into its next big stage of scrutiny.

This matters because the Bill contains the new Community Right to Buy and stronger protections for community spaces, which ties directly into what this petition has been calling for.

This is a genuine milestone — the Bill is now in the part of Parliament that examines the detail closely.
