We’ve reached an important moment.

Yesterday, Parliament voted on parts of the English Devolution and Community Empowerment Bill — a major piece of legislation that affects local councils and community spaces across England.

Although the Bill didn’t mention our petition directly (they never name individual petitions in Bills), the issues we’ve raised are right at the heart of what’s being discussed.

One proposed clause to strengthen community consultation was voted down.

That means the protections many of us have been asking for still aren’t guaranteed.

And that’s why this petition still matters.

Our story — what happened to No Limits and to so many other community spaces — remains a vital real-world example of why change is needed.

Thank you for staying with me on this journey.

We’re not at the finish line yet, but we’ve already reached further than I ever imagined.

Let’s keep going.
