When I started this petition back in March to save No Limits Community Café and Hub, I could never have imagined how far it would reach. What began as one café’s fight for survival has now become a national conversation — and I’m incredibly proud to say that our voices helped bring in a new rule to protect vital community spaces and those who rely on them.
This is more than a signature count. It’s proof that persistence, inclusion, and lived experience matter.
Since starting this journey, our campaign has:
Gained over 750 signatures (and counting)
Been mentioned twice in Parliament through Martin Wrigley MP, with support from Stephen Timms MP
Led to a new government rule ensuring better safeguards for community projects and access to support
I’ve also just received a certificate of recognition for my work supporting community hubs — something I never expected, and it means the world.
To everyone who’s signed, shared, and stood behind this — thank you. This isn’t the end; it’s the foundation for a future where safe, supportive community spaces are valued and protected.
🌟 Please keep sharing the petition and talking about why these spaces matter. The more awareness we build, the stronger this movement becomes.
