So, my homework yesterday was simple:
📩 Email all the presidents of the schools in Power 4 conferences and respectfully urge them to do the right thing.

Naturally, I turned to my favorite unpaid research assistant — ChatGPT 🤖
I asked it to grab the email addresses for every Power 4 president.
It did. In seconds. (10/10 would recommend.)

Then I wrote them a little note.  I sent it to myself and BCC'd all of them.

I’m not saying you should do the same.
I’m also not… not saying that 😉
Your call. But just in case you're curious, here's what I sent:

✉️ Subject: Time to Do the Right Thing

Dear Presidents,

As you are all well aware, the House v. NCAA settlement is entering its final stages. Judge Wilken has been clear: student-athletes who were preemptively cut in anticipation of the settlement must be grandfathered in.

This moment presents an opportunity — and a responsibility — to do right by those affected. Public support to remove roster limits continues to grow, and an increasing number of respected voices in college athletics — including Kirk Ferentz, Matt Rhule, Chris Klieman, Dabo Swinney, and Matt Campbell — have spoken out against these cuts. The momentum is real and building.

We understand that the NCAA is now looking to universities — to you — to determine whether these student-athletes will be welcomed back.

Those who lead with fairness and integrity will no doubt be recognized and appreciated by student-athletes, alumni, and the broader public.

With such distinguished institutions represented in the Power 4 Conferences, I am confident you will choose to support your student-athletes and help shape a more just outcome.

Thank you,

That’s it.
No threats. No hashtags. No memes (yet).
Just a little pressure… politely applied 🫱💥

If you want to send your email, we’ve still got time to change the story. 🎓⚖️
