Can you believe it? On February 10, 2024, we started out with a goal of 25 signatures. A little more than 2 months later we are only 10 signatures short of FOUR HUNDRED SIGNATURES!!!
As we enter the final stretch, please give this petition a push across the amazing 400-signature line!
While our U.S. Civil Rights Complaint to Protect NAACP Members From Unfair Suspensions will continue to remain accessible online for those wish to sign, April 30, 2024 will mark the date that we assess where we are and prepare to resubmit our Complaint to the U.S. Department of Justice and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), during the early part of May 2024 with an exciting Addendum!
The Addendum will include the petition with signatures from across the nation. We hope by then, the petition will consist of more than 400 signatures, which is no easy feat when seeking to clean up one’s own house.
The Complaint has the historic audacity to seek the necessary accountability inside its own tent, that protects its members and elected officers on the ground, whereby the current leadership has indisputably orchestrated a top-down hierarchical style of leadership that allows double standards and in many instances, betrays basic civil rights principles and violates its own rules.
With this said, without our efforts, the nation’s greatest civil rights organization- the NAACP, risk dying from metaphoric internal wounds, internal bleeding, and a malfunctioning heart.
Our internal NAACP woes are unjustly and inadvertently preventing an effective good fight for justice for the larger Black community; discriminately suppressing the growth of certain members; needlessly using undue punishment, smear campaigns, and character assassination to destroy or add difficulty to the lives of some of our community’s best and greatest hopes for change in the larger fight for justice.
Meanwhile, the NAACP today is in the process of self-destructing and wrongfully undermining, discrediting, and throwing its own warriors off the battlefield as institutional racism, the extremism of Trumpism, violence, mass incarceration, and premature death within the Black community continue to escalate.
Please let’s share this message/petition as we must get back to the business of indiscriminately PROTECTING EVERYONE’S EQUAL RIGHTS TO DUE PROCESS, AND ENSURE BLACK AND ALL OPPRESSED BEINGS IN THIS GENERATION ARE COVERED UNDER CONSTITUTIONAL “EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAWS” - WITHOUT DEVIATION, WITHOUT HESITATION, AND WITHOUT COMPROMISE.
