We have six weeks to protect thousands of kids from sexual abuse. That sounds overwhelming. But if we all work together we can do it. A strong version of the Child Victims Act that protects kids is in the Executive budget. That’s our best bet at getting this passed this year. But budget negotiations are fast and shielded from public view. So we need to make our voices heard and insist that the bill remains in the budget.
