We've done so much but we have more to do. We're getting down to the wire. Governor Cuomo promises his budget as soon as the budget passes, that's soon. Senator Brad Hoylman and Assemblymember Rosenthal have both entered their bills. We've held meeting after meeting with senators and assemblymembers, and we will continue. In ten years we have never made this progress, and we have you to thank. This petition is paying off. They're watching, listening, and we're winning legislators over. There is more to be done. The Senate Republicans are the holdouts. In 11 years they have never even allowed this important bill, a bill that will help protect 43,000 children a year from sexual abuse, to come to the floor for a vote. Help us bring survivors and their supporters to Albany for lobby day and we will demonstrate that protecting children from sexual abuse is the will of the people. After all, why wouldn't it be?
