Lots of people have been asking how they can help with the effort to save Jingu Gaien, beyond signing the petition and attending demos. 

And there are lots of things that non-Japanese in particular can effectively help with, such as reaching out to overseas media, climate activism organizations, investors in Mitsui Fudosan and Itochu, ESG orgs etc.

I'm going to start a working group, nicknamed the Jingu Gaien Gaijin Squad, to brainstorm things that we can do, and then get started on doing them. 

We're going to meet this Saturday, April 8th from 4 to 6 pm in Meeting Room #3 at the Tokyo Gymnasium (1 Chome-17-1 Sendagaya, Shibuya City, Tokyo 151-0051）

The meeting will start with an update on where we are in the fight (the project has passed some milestones but there are others still to come), brainstorming activity ideas as a group, and then splitting into teams to coordinate specific efforts.

It might be helpful to gather ideas before the meeting, so I have set up a Google document. Please share any thoughts there!

Note, the Gaijin Squad will conduct its activities in English. Japanese are welcome to join too, if you are comfortable with English. For anyone who wants to volunteer but prefers to use Japanese, please refer to this post for information on how to join one of the Japanese working groups.
