Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase has introduced a bill to the Virginia Senate that will ban gender affirming care for trans children and remove health care coverage for gender affirming care for adults. This will forcibly de transition trans children and trans adults across the state. This bill has no supporting research and is a blatant attack on Trans children and their families. Republican lawmakers are trying to practice medicine without a license and bring government control into our homes and doctor’s office. Bills like this do not save trans children they put them in danger and are direct threats to their physical and mental health.
