Protect Hawai‘i – End Corruption, Restore the Land, and Reclaim the Future

Protect Hawai‘i – End Corruption, Restore the Land, and Reclaim the Future
The Issue
Hawai‘i belongs to its people not corrupt politicians, foreign billionaires, or corporations. For too long, our people have been pushed out, priced out, and cut off from land, food, water, and culture while leadership profits off our suffering.
A Message from the Heart:
I am Hawaiian not by full blood, but by ancestry, by culture, and by kuleana. My connection to this land runs deep. I carry the responsibility of my kūpuna with pride. It doesn’t matter how much blood you have it matters how you show up for Hawai‘i. This movement is about buying land back, putting it in Hawaiian hands, and creating a future where our people grow our food, protect our water, and live with dignity on our own ʻāina.
To the Hawaiian Sovereignty ʻOhana:We recognize that many in our community do not acknowledge the legitimacy of the U.S. or the State of Hawai‘i. We honor the resistance of those fighting for the full restoration of the Hawaiian Kingdom and true self determination. This petition does not dismiss the sovereignty movement it is one tool to protect what remains, while building the next generation of Hawaiian-led leadership. We welcome collaboration with all Hawaiian-led movements because we all share the same goal: Hawai‘i for Hawaiians.
To Local Residents Who Are Not HawaiianThis petition is rooted in aloha aina and Native Hawaiian leadership but it is for everyone who loves Hawai‘i and is willing to fight for its future. If you live here, give back here, and care about protecting this place, you are part of this movement too. This is about people vs. power not blood vs. blood. The aina needs all of us to stand together.
OUR DEMANDS FOR A SELF-SUFFICIENT, CORRUPTION-FREE HAWAI‘I
REMOVE CORRUPT POLITICIANS & BRING ACCOUNTABILITY Federal investigations into political corruption & backdoor dealsFinancial transparency laws for all public officials Term limits and recall elections for career politicians Public votes on all major land sales no more secret deals Ban campaign donations from developers & foreign investors We will file formal complaints with the DOJ, FBI, and state ethics commissions to investigate corruption and restore trust.

BUILD A HAWAIIAN-LED ECONOMY & END IMPORT DEPENDENCECreate a Hawaiian Land Trust to buy back aina Launch a Farmers Fund to support local food productionInvest in renewable energy (solar, wind, wave) that’s locally ownedTax corporate tourism and reinvest in Hawaiian businessesThe economy must serve Hawaiians not outside profit.
PROTECT HAWAI‘I’S AINA, WAI, AND RESOURCES End corporate control over water and farmlandReforest watersheds and expand rainwater catchment Establish a Water Trust under Hawaiian-led community governance. Hold corporations accountable for environmental harm We will fight to protect the land and water before it’s too late.
BUILD TRUE HAWAIIAN-LED LEADERSHIP Support Native Hawaiian leaders rooted in culture and kuleanaCreate a People’s Voting Guide to expose corruption Encourage community voting on land & water governance Develop a youth leadership pipeline to carry this forward Push for direct democracy tools initiatives, referendums, recalls Hawai‘i should be led by those who carry its ancestral responsibility.
WHO WE DEMAND ACTION FROM:
Corrupt leaders who have sold out Hawai‘i State & local officials who serve profit over people The U.S. Department of Justice & Federal Investigators Once this petition reaches 50,000+ signatures, they can’t ignore us.
WHY THIS MATTERS TO EVERY LOCAL IN HAWAI‘I
Hawaiians and long-time residents are being displaced, priced out, and ignored. Our culture, our homes, and our future are being sold. Luxury hotels while families can’t afford groceries. Corporations thriving while local businesses are crushed. Foreign investors owning land while Hawaiians are pushed out. Developers building for billionaires while our people become homeless. This ends now. If we unite, we can force change or become the change.
How This Will Work: Land, Water, Food, and Power Back in Hawaiian Hands This isn’t just a list of demands. This is a real plan and it works because we’re not waiting on permission from the state. We’re building tools rooted in community, culture, and kuleana.
Here’s how we make it happen:
Hawaiian Land Trust – Reclaim Aina. We will launch or support a Hawaiian-led land trust to buy back land, protect it from developers, and return it to cultural, agricultural, and housing use for our people. The land will stay in Hawaiian hands forever.
Hawai‘i Farmers Fund Feed Our People: We’ll create a locally run fund to give Native Hawaiian and local farmers grants, land access, seeds, tools, and water rights. This allows us to grow food for ourselves not depend on imported goods or corporate agriculture.
Hawaiian Water Trust Protect Our Wai: Water is sacred. We’ll work to form a Hawaiian-led Water Trust that restores watersheds, expands rainwater catchment, and stops private companies from controlling our wai. Governance must be in the hands of the people, not corporations.
Community Land Trusts for Housing Keep Locals Rooted. We’ll expand Community Land Trusts (CLTs) so locals can own homes on land held in trust keeping housing for generations. No more billionaires pricing out kamaʻāina.
A People’s Power Pipeline From Movement to Leadership. We’ll create a People’s Voting Guide, launch recall campaigns, and help raise up new Hawaiian leaders who are rooted in kuleana not corruption. We’re not here to fix a broken system. We’re here to build a new one. These aren’t ideas they’re real tools. Some already exist. Others, we will create. Together, they form the foundation of a self-sufficient Hawai‘i, led by Hawaiians, protected by community, and fueled by aloha Aina. Nothing changes unless we make it happen. Let’s build it together.
