In an earlier post I said ‘if any one feels brave enough’. That’s not right. ‘Victim survivors’ shouldn’t have to do anything. Their safety should be a priority.
Im so sick of having to mind my manners because the systems around us enable the gaslighting and view emotional distress as ‘crazy’. This stems from outdated societal beliefs about women being too emotional, hormonal and untrustworthy.

Please note that coercive control isn’t always perpetrated by men- mostly I will keep this from a gendered discussion but research does show that an overwhelming percentage of men are perpetrators.
