Thank you to everyone who has already made a submission to the Clutha District Council about their proposed ‘Vehicles on Beaches Bylaw’. We appreciate you, and everyone who signed our initial petition on Change.org. It is your efforts that have put this Bylaw on the table. Submissions close on the 20th of June 2022 via https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/67CFBH5 If the Bylaw passes, the Clutha District Council will join the Far North District Council, Whangarei District Council, Hauraki District Council, Tauranga District, Waikato District Council, Waitomo District Council, Opotiki District Council, Whakatāne District Council, Marlborough District Council, Kāpiti Coast District Council, Dunedin City Council and Invercargill City Council in adopting vehicle Bylaws.
The Bylaw will hopefully come into effect on the 1st of January 2023.
