States such as Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming are urging the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove the grizzly populations from the Endangered Species Act. This potential decision could come into effect as early as January 2025. Additionally, there have been reports of Alaskan officials permitting a helicopter chase that resulted in the killing of 100 bears, including cubs. It's heartbreaking to see innocent animals being senselessly killed. Do we want to live in a world where such atrocities occur, or can we strive for a future where endangered wildlife are safeguarded and cherished?
