I have seen the product of the ESA program, a voucher initiative that has provided many with the opportunity to access quality education. I myself benefited from STO's and was able to receive an incredible education. Seeing program's that levels the playing field come under attack changed my life trajectory and inspired me to run as an independent candidate for the House of Representatives in Legislative District 5, Phoenix, AZ.

My campaign is dedicated to preserving and expanding programs like ESA that can lift people out of poverty through education. However, as an independent candidate, I face significant hurdles. To get on the ballot, I need five times more signatures than most candidates.

In Arizona alone, over 20% of children live in poverty (source: U.S Census Bureau). These children deserve every chance at success just like their wealthier peers. Programs like ESA provide these opportunities but are under constant threat from budget cuts and policy changes. It's also a program that enables parents to choose their child's education. It's so important that we provide support to the parents to raise and educate their children in a way that aligns with their goals and values.
