Thanks so much to those who joined the community protest walk last Saturday. It was great to meet new people and welcome them to the campaign. 

We only have 1 week to the Cork City Council vote on July 13th and if you're reading this, you already know why this vote is so critical. 3 of our 6 local councillors are confirmed to vote against the rezoning which is great but we need more to get a majority vote over the line. If at all possible, it would make an impace if you could please take the time to contact local councillors or tag them on social comments so that they understand the negative impact this mega estate will have - on those who end up living in there and on the wider community. 

These are the local councillors that we need to try to influence to Vote No to the rezoning at this stage and to wait for a sustainable plan for the area.

This is going to be a tough week, and hopefully a pivotal one, with a meeting with Peter Horgan on Monday, meeting with Sinn Fein on Thursday and with Seamus McGrath on Friday.
