A Personal Truth I Want to Share

For years, I worked and saved every penny with one dream:
to buy a home and secure a safe future for my children — a stable place to grow, financial security, and support for their education when they are older.

But throughout this long and painful process with social services and Child Protection, I was forced to spend all of my life savings on solicitors just to protect my children and prove what every school and health professional already knew:
my children were safe, loved, and well cared for.

I never imagined I would have to use my children’s future savings in this way.
But as a mother, I have no regrets — I would rather spend every pound protecting my children today than allow a broken system to harm them.

Still, no parent should ever be put in this position.
No family should have to choose between a child’s future and their safety.
