Tuesday, January 12, starting at 1:30 Pacific Time, the Del Mar Fairgrounds Board will meet via Zoom. Agenda Item 6A is Horsepark. 

Here's what you can do to make your voice heard:

1. WRITE emails to the Fairgrounds Board and address to the Administrative Asst. --doleary@sdfair.com regarding Agenda Item 6A. 

Friends of Del Mar Horsepark  will propose the following actions at the 1-12-21 Board meeting:

• Stop the eviction of the 26-year-old public riding school and the horse stables filled with retired show ponies and race horses.
• Reinstate the 35 horse show contracts for 2021 at Horsepark since most shows cannot be moved to the Fairgrounds due to summer schedule conflicts with horse racing.
• Lease Horsepark to an experienced operator who can make necessary water remediation improvements, facility upgrades, and provide income to 22nd DAA.

2. SIGN UP & SPEAK at the  Tuesday, January 12 Zoom meeting starting at 1:30pm--visit the Del Mar Fairgrounds Board website and register to speak for 2 minutes.
