UPDATE!
The Sacramento City Council will be reviewing and voting on the next step to repeal the Sacramento's comic book ban on Tuesday, January 27th at 2pm. 

The only thing I note is this is specific to support the repeal, but the language regarding Sacramento Comic Book Week appears to removed. I am completely in support of a clean language to remove and hope that the Sacramento Comic Book Week will come later.

If you cannot attend or don't wish to speak in person, you may leave an eComment to the agenda item # 4 at the link below -- it takes just a second to say something as simple as "I live in Sacramento, and as a resident, I fully support the repeal of this antiquated book ban on comic books. Secondly, I want to note that the City Council will also be hearing an agenda item to strengthen Sacramento's sanctuary city status. We are seeing a continued use of the Federal government being trample on virtually every tenet of the Bill of Rights in Minneapolis and beyond. It's embarrassing how with no formal investigation, the federal government has been asking us to disbelieve what can be plainly seen with our own eyes found in the video evidence of the unjustifiable ICE killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. I feel it is absolutely paramount to support behind these efforts of reaffirmation and supporting City Council as --similar to the impetus to repealing the comic law-- we can be proactive in removing tools of malice that could be deployed against our community. 

 I would encourage you to take action on both matters; review it for yourself and leave comment of support if you do.
