Recognize that parents have no right to authorize irreversible mutilation of their children’s bodies.
Ensure governments uphold children’s rights to bodily integrity under international law.
Protect every child’s right to grow up whole and unharmed.

We call on the Court to recognize the non-consensual circumcision of minors as a violation of Article 8 (Right to Private Life and Bodily Integrity) of the European Convention on Human Rights.
