🚨 Survivors of sexual abuse should not be revictimized by the justice system.

Right now, in Indiana, graphic and explicit details of sexual abuse cases are made public in Probable Cause Affidavits (PCAs) before trial. This means that survivors—including children—have their most traumatizing experiences exposed for anyone to read, including the media, the public, and their abusers' supporters.

💔 This should never happen.
💔 No survivor should have to relive their trauma because of a legal loophole.
💔 Justice should not come at the cost of a survivor’s dignity.

That’s why we are calling on Indiana lawmakers to pass the Survivor Privacy Act, which would:
✅ Require automatic redaction of explicit details in child sex crime cases before public release.
✅ Allow only necessary public details (defendant’s name, charges, and case status).
✅ Ensure survivors and families don’t have to relive their trauma in public.
