Protect CHIJ Art Culture - Stop AI Usage for the Arts
The Issue

Our school (under CHIJ) has a notable reputation for cultivating the love for arts, but the school is pushing the use of generative AI for what they represent. Students are made to use AI to generate designs for Design and Technology (DnT) lessons, and dedicated AI lessons have been made mandatory for students in our level. These requirements are costing students their time and their creativity.
We hope to abolish the use of AI when it comes to designing and creating new ideas, especially in the Arts stream. No AI should be used for products that can be made by human hands. Sign the petition now and support 95 years of CHIJ arts culture!
