Protect and Preserve the Niagara Military Museum

Protect and Preserve the Niagara Military Museum
The Issue
We, the undersigned residents of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Region, and Canadians at large, believe that the Niagara Military Museum must be protected, preserved, and promoted—now and for future generations.
Housed in the historic 1911 Armoury, this museum safeguards irreplaceable artifacts and tells the powerful, often untold, stories of Canada’s proud military past. Within these walls echo the bravery of those who served—those who came home, and those who did not. This is more than a building. It is a legacy. A living link to the sacrifices that shaped our freedom.
We therefore call upon the elected Council of the City of Niagara Falls to join us in protecting this vital historic landmark. We urge the Council to ensure the Armoury remains under municipal care and long-term protection, and to champion this institution as a pillar of civic pride, education, and remembrance.
This is not just about heritage—it’s about honour. It’s about identity. It’s about ensuring that future generations understand the cost of the freedoms they now inherit.
Please help us preserve the story. Help us protect the soul of our community.
Save the Armoury. Protect the Niagara Military Museum.
