I recently created this petition to multiply our voices. Have you ever been hit by YouTube's copyright claims, and on rare occasions had your dispute rejected? 

I know for one that it's a stressful situation that no one should have to go through, especially since while your dispute has been rejected by a claimant:

1. It's your own music

2. It's often nothing like the music it gets compared to.

3. Claimants stand to profit from increasing their claims. 

We can't let algorithms dictate the future of our art. Our numbers have power. YouTube risks losing its ambient community, and creators risk losing their channels. Let's make it clear that the burden of fixing a flawed system is on YouTube—we are the customers, not the enemy. With your signature, we can send a message that protects our channels and our art.
