The Supreme Court has made the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Roe was the only protection women had to control their own bodies in the USA- and now it's gone. 

Abortion in Michigan continues to be legal for now. However, the state of Michigan has a Republican-controlled legislature and a Democrat governor. Gubernatorial elections are set for November, and if Michigan doesn't codify reproductive rights before these elections there could be dire consequences if a Republican governor is elected.
