It’s been a victorious and impactful several days for POC. Julius Jones received clemency. Kevin Strickland was released from prison, after serving significant time as a wrongfully-convicted man. Ahmaud Arbery’s family received much-deserved justice, and Joel Caston can now serve in his new Commissioner role from outside prison walls. This type of shift and momentum gives me hope that my innocent husband will soon be home and will not have to endure another holiday season being taken from him.
