According to Caleb Smith's statement  a rabbit from the Peacebunny Cottage animal cruelty case is getting medication for a "newly infected eye".  

After misleading the public for years, Mrs. Stephanie Smith  (CEO of Peacebunny Foundation is now claiming:
"We have never operated as a rescue but have from time to time brought in rabbits that were offered for our program".

But the biggest news is the huge Angora rabbit rescue we just participated in. So thankful that the family asked for help -- they were overwhelmed and needed help due to unexpected circumstances. I believe that it takes courage to admit you can't take care of all your animals, so keep any negative thoughts away. They needed to place 45 rabbits immediately before the cold weather sets in and thankfully we have space for the Mammas and their litters. This week volunteers were busy with nail trims, massive hair care, and just oohing and ahhhing at the babies. We are not a traditional rescue because we select which rabbits we bring in and they need to be one of our specialty breeds or have super strong potential to become a comfort rabbit. But this was a good fit.
