Last Day to show your support for new Stafford Park!

A Parks survey is being done to get feedback of future Park improvements to be included in the Comprehensive Plan. The Plan will be approved in October.

The Parks survey is simple and easy. Please click the link below to support two new parks. 

1. Historic Events Park at Cannon Ridge.

2. Accokeek Furnace Boardwalk.

Question #15 asked for Park ideas. My suggestion are;

1. Accokeek Furnace Boardwalk and Trail.

2. A Historic Events Park, Fairgrounds and the Waterfall Trail at the closed Cannon Ridge Golf Course.

Question 16 suggestion;

The Accokeek Furnace Boardwalk and Trail would go from the Mine Road Extension to the Accokeek Furnace and Mill Site behind Colonial Forge HS.
