I am a resident of Chicago, Illinois, and I care deeply about the well-being of bees. Bees are the only animal essential to life on the planet; without them, there is no life. Many people value bees only for the honey they produce, forgetting their vital role in sustaining life. 

It is essential to understand that the spread of bees not only benefits the environment, but also the growth of forests and, consequently, all human beings. They are responsible for the pollination of about a third of the food we consume, and more than 75% of the world's flowering plants depend on pollinators to reproduce (Source: National Geographic). 

In addition, the disappearance of bees would not only deprive us of food and natural beauty. According to a study, bees also play an important role in improving air quality (Source: University of Reading, United Kingdom).

It is therefore imperative to act now to protect and propagate bees. We urge relevant authorities to promote bee care and conservation policies and all citizens to adopt bee-conscious gardening practices. This is about protecting life on our planet.
