Promote the Integration of Tooling with GitHub and Original Repositories
The Issue
Personal to me, and beneficial for all developers, is the cause to upgrade our project management system. Currently, our diagram reveals a disconnection between 'Tooling', 'GitHub', and the 'Original Repository'. This system's foundation was meant to streamline tasks, promote collaboration, and ensure the successful completion of projects. Unfortunately, this is not the case in our reality.
The need for the efficient import of work between these three crucial points has become glaringly apparent. The current fragmented system dampens productivity, stalls progress, and makes it frustrating for developers like us who are trying to optimize our resources.
Data from the Stack Overflow Developer Survey 2019 supports our cause. 87.4% of developers reported using GitHub as a collaborative tool. With such a large user base, it's only efficient that the process between 'Tooling' and 'GitHub', and further to the 'Original Repository', is seamless.
Let us unite and voice our demands for an upgrade to our project management system. Our goal is simple - a seamless, efficient, and productive process where all three points, 'Tooling', 'GitHub', and the 'Original Repository', are interconnected smoothly. Together, we can achieve more efficient workflows, reduced project timelines and happier, more productive developers. Please, sign this petition and lend your voice to this cause.
