There was a time when I felt overwhelmed and unsure of the decisions I was making. That's when I met someone who would not only help me navigate those challenging times but would also change my life for the better. This person is known affectionately to the students and staff of Berkmar High School as "Bossman," officially known as Mr. Chaparro.

Bossman isn’t just a name; it stands for protection, guidance, and genuine care within our campus. As an alumnus of Berkmar High, he deeply understands our community's needs and is committed to ensuring a safe and positive environment for all of us. His daily routine isn’t just about ensuring security. It encompasses listening to students, having personal conversations, and instilling a sense of safety and belonging in each of us.

In a school community, mentorship can make all the difference, and Bossman brings this in spades. Every day, he mentors students, offering guidance and support helping them make sound decisions. His dedication is unparalleled, making him not only a staff member but an essential part of Berkmar.
