Who we are:

• We are a core group of survivors, practitioners, and allies associated with Kagyu Samye Dzong Dublin, Ireland (KSDD).
• We are seeking survivor centred accountability processes & appropriate action in relation to long term allegations of abuse & ethical misconduct in KSDD. We (the above core group) became aware of the history of allegations of abuse & ethical misconduct in KSDD on 19th May 2023. 
• KSDD is a registered Company & Charity in Ireland under the name Kagyu Buddhism Ireland. It is a daughter centre of Kagyu Samye Ling in Scotland, the first Tibetan Buddhist centre in the West.

What we want:

• We want a neutral third party investigation into the allegations of abuse & ethical misconduct in Kagyu Samye Dzong Dublin (KSDD).
• We want the investigation to prioritise the safety and voices of the survivors of the alleged abuse & ethical misconduct.
• We want An Olive Branch (https://www.an-olive-branch.org/) to conduct the investigation. We want KSDD/ Samye Ling to fund this investigation.

How you can help:

• Please can you share and sign our petition to support us in being heard, so that our above objectives can be achieved.
• Abuses in convert Buddhist communities have been ignored and survivors have been silenced by those in positions of power.
• Adding your voice to ours will help us resist being silenced, and prevent the allegations of abuse in our Sangha from being ignored.

It is our view that authentic Dharma can bear investigation.
