The Issue

Support Brody's DREAM!  #PROJECTBRODY

"I love to swing like A LOT, a lot, a lot ... but I can't play at all..."

He dreams to simply be swinging, laughing, and playing with other kids! Brody is an incredible teenager who has worked endlessly to overcome so much. He still has many limitations and needs everyone's help. He longs to participate instead of just watch! He wants to be with his brothers at the ball field! He wants to be able to get onto the sidewalk in his wagon or wheelchair! He wants to stop feeling like an outsider! He wants to be accepted and included, like every child, like every human. This is a matter of true accessibility and Inclusivity versus ADA compliance.

So we have launched #PROJECTBRODY - Project Brody began with one simple idea: every child deserves the chance to play.

We believe that accessibility isn’t just about meeting standards—it’s about creating opportunities. It’s about making sure every person feels welcomed, valued, and included in their own community.

Project Brody is about bringing people together to advocate for inclusive spaces, educate our communities, and inspire positive change. We hope this movement encourages others to look around their own communities and ask, “How can we make this better for everyone?”

This project is bigger than just one playground. It’s about dignity, belonging, and making sure everyone has the opportunity to participate, connect, and thrive.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported Project Brody by distributing our cause's message via this petition, sending kind words, or by sharing posts. Brody simply wanted to start conversations about inclusion because he has even bigger dreams of true inclusion on his mind. Every act of support brings us one step closer to communities where everyone has a place. Through Project Brody, we’re all hoping to help build pathways to a more inclusive future—because everyone matters.

We urge the Williamson city officials, lawmakers, and community leaders to take immediate action. Let's prioritize the inclusivity and accessibility of our community spaces for all residents.

Please show your support for making Williamson, WV a truly inclusive community where every person, regardless of ability, can thrive and enjoy our beautiful parks and public areas.
