Dear residents,

As a concerned parent residing in OU Profs Colony, Kondapur, I am deeply troubled by the increasing traffic incursion, primarily by the Arka Renault service vehicles. My child, like many others in our colony, uses the open spaces in our neighborhood for their playtime. With the advent of the new CC roads, the vehicle movement poses a risk to their safety and mental peace.

While all city dwellers understand the necessity of vehicular traffic, all should equally understand the concerns regarding safety, peace, and the overall health of our community. As the rate of traffic-related accidents is alarming in India, with around 150,000 fatalities annually (source: Ministry of Road Transport and Highways), safety becomes an even more pressing concern in residential communities where children often play outdoors.

The request to stop Arka Renault's service vehicles from using our colony's roads is a request to respect our right to peace, safety, and quality of life. We will make sure to work with Arka Renault about establishing alternative routes to ensure the operational efficiency of their company, in a way that does not infringe upon our community's wellbeing.
