Hoy día 10 de julio 2023 se ha cobrado la vida de otro inocente toro. Es la 7ª victima según dice los vecinos mayores de Dénia  pero seguro habrá más dicen.  Esta petición pretende sumar un máximo de firmas de ciudadanos de Dénia. En algunas ciudades de España, el referéndum fue un éxito, por eso queremos intentarlo, confiando en que sean votos legítimos. Si la mayoría de los habitantes es consciente del daño que causamos a los animales, no sería necesario discutir, protestar o votar; los ayuntamientos serían los primeros en prohibir tan gran barbarie. Confiamos en que somos la mayoría los que queremos la abolición de la tauromaquia y por eso debemos elegir lo que queremos, para eso pagamos impuestos. Una democracia limpia, un pueblo inteligente puede obtener buenos resultados para ayudar a los animales. Si la mayoría no quiere y no participa en una corrida de toros, solicitamos que utilicemos la democracia con referéndum popular para que todos los vecinos de Dénia votemos por una fiesta mejor sin animales. Hay nuevos tipos de fiestas más divertidas y modernas en las que pueden participar todos los ciudadanos, no una minoría de los aficionados a los toros. El toreo en sí es de mal gusto, aburrido, triste; sobre todo maltrata, mata toros y vacas, proyecta una mala imagen de la ciudad y da mal ejemplo a los niños. Queremos que se eliminen los toros de la fiesta de la Santa Sangre y se cambien por algo más moderno y atractivo como se muestra en el siguiente video: https://youtu.be/_KxR8Vktd . También queremos animar que es una total falta de respeto maltratar a los animales usando términos sagrados como la Santa Sangre de Jesús como excusa porque según los evangelios era vegetariano y respetuoso con los animales y siempre predicó el amor a todas sus criaturas (Juan 10:30). Pedimos un referéndum para que los ciudadanos votemos democráticamente para decidir sobre el futuro de nuestra fiesta. Debemos eliminar a los animales de cualquier celebración ya que no consideramos adecuado honrar a Cristo involucrando a toros o a otros animales en actos de maltrato o humillación. A la mayoría de los ciudadanos de esta ciudad no les gusta ver toros cada año corriendo asustados por la calle. Es cruel aburrido humillante ya que también ha provocado ahogamientos y muertes de vacas y toros en años anteriores. Esta nueva propuesta sin duda atraerá más turistas a Dénia y motivará a otras ciudades como Jávea, Moraira y Benicarló a abandonar también sus crueles prácticas de tirar toros y vacas al mar, de esta forma todos los ciudadanos podrán disfrutar mayoritariamente de la fiesta sin dañar utilizar y explotar a los animales.

This petition aims to add 100,000 thousand signatures to present to the European Parliament. In some cities of Spain, the referendum was a success, that's why we want to try it, trusting that it will be legitimate votes.
If the majority of the inhabitants is aware of the damage we cause to animals, it would not be necessary to discuss, protest or vote, the municipalities would be the first to prohibit such great barbarism. We trust that we are the majority who want the abolition of bullfighting and that is why we must choose what we want, that is why we pay taxes. A clean democracy, an intelligent people can get good results to help animals.
If the majority does not want and does not participate in a bullfight, we request that we use democracy with a popular referendum so that all the residents of Dénia vote for a better party without animals.
There are new types of more fun and modern parties in which all citizens can participate, not a minority of bullfighting. The bullfighting itself is in bad taste, boring, sad, above all, it mistreats, kills bulls and cows, gives a very bad image to the city and sets a bad example for children. We want the removal of the bulls from the festival of the Holy Blood and change them for something more modern and attractive as shown in the video.... so that truly all citizens can enjoy something new, beautiful, ethical without animals and truly fun.
We also want to encourage that it is a total lack of respect to mistreat animals using sacred terms such as the Holy Blood of Jesus as an excuse because according to Jesus himself he did not eat or mistreat animals and always preached love to all creatures of his Greater Father - God. .
We ask for a referendum so that citizens vote democratically to choose what we want for our city.
We must eliminate animals from any celebration since we do not consider it appropriate to honor Christ by mistreating and humiliating bulls or any other animal species. Most of the citizens of this city do not like to see bulls every year running scared down the street. It is cruel boring humiliating as it has also caused drownings and deaths of cows and bulls in previous years.
This new proposal will undoubtedly attract more tourists to Dénia and will motivate other cities such as Jávea, Moraira and Benicarló to also abandon their cruel practices of throwing bulls and cows into the sea, in this way all citizens will mostly be able to enjoy the party without harm to animals.
