The essence of peace is often overshadowed by misconceptions that portray it as a sign of weakness. However, history teaches us that true strength lies in the ability to listen, to engage in constructive dialogue, and to collaborate with open minds. It requires great resilience to rise above ego in effort to resolve a disagreement, to actively seek common ground, and to strive collectively towards a world safe from animalistic self-destruction intent on killing its own species over imaginary lines. These territorial lines or borders were created to keep humans operating on instinct. Understand the weaknesses within the human species, the characteristically flawed species will destroy itself, and it will do this because of imaginary lines created to keep people separate. The animal instinct to protect what belongs to them along with the basic programming of instinct perpetuates the violent actions. Even though the lines are imaginary, a human idea, it drives these people to continue towards paths of destruction. What if the decision to separate land into imaginary sections was a social experiment, or an art of war tactic? Why do people feel the need to separate based on location? The species as a whole needs to survive and every human by definition is an endangered species.
We need every idea, or thought that the human mind has to contribute for the advancement of the species as a whole. The separation and war, the destruction of everything sets humanity back, when it should be using the information acquired as stepping points for advancement.
